This summer, everyone is raving about CBD cocktails, so we thought we’d share a few of our favorites. There’s nothing like a refreshing cocktail at the end of a long day, and what better way to improve relaxation than by adding a little CBD?

CBD Mint Julep

Looking for a cool, refreshing summer cocktail? How about a mint julep with Rooted Hemp Co. CBD!

• 3 oz. favorite bourbon whiskey
• 2 tbsp. cane sugar
• 10-12 mint leaves
• Splash of water
• Crushed ice
• Squeeze of lime (optional)
• Rooted Hemp Co. CBD

CBD Negroni

Another classic cocktail, the negroni flavors lend themselves perfectly as a CBD cocktail. Just a few drops of CBD give this fresh cocktail a laid-back spin.

• 1 oz. dry vermouth
• 1 oz. dry sherry
• 1 oz. aperitif wine
• Dash of bitters
• Rooted Hemp Co. CBD
• Orange peel

Fill a cocktail mixer with ice and a few dashes of bitters. Add the dry vermouth, sherry, and wine and stir for 30 seconds. Pour into a chilled glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with orange peel and top with droplets of CBD.

CBD Margarita 

Everyone loves a margarita, but this one has been upgraded a bit. With a little CBD, the classic margarita goes from good to great for a truly enjoyable experience.

• 2 oz. tequila blanco
• 1 oz. lime juice
• ½ oz. agave
• Coarse salt
• Lime wedges
• Rooted Hemp Co. CBD (10-15 mg)

Run a wedge of lime around the rim of a glass. Dip the glass in a shallow container of coarse salt. Add tequila, lime juice, and agave to a cocktail shaker and shake until all ingredients are combined. Pout into the salt-rimmed glass with ice and garnish with a lime wedge.

CBD Strawberry Daiquiri

Strawberry daiquiris are one of the best-tasting cocktails around. They’re also perfect with a little CBD to complement this luxurious fruit drink.

• 1 ½ oz. rum
• ¾ oz. lime juice
• 1 oz. simple syrup
• 1 strawberry
• Rooted Hemp Co. CBD

Add rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and strawberry to a blender with crushed ice. Add a few drops of CBD tincture or a scoop of CBD isolate. Blend until smooth. Garnish with another strawberry if you wish. Enjoy!

CBD Sangria

Sangria is a rich and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It’s an ideal blend of fruity and earthy flavors that goes well with a little CBD.

• 4 oz. red wine
• 2 tbsp. orange liquor
• Club soda
• Raspberries and slices of orange
• Rooted Hemp Co. CBD

Crush a few raspberries in the bottom of your glass. Add the wine and orange liquor. Add a few drops of CBD and stir until fully combined. Top with a little club soda, more raspberries, and slices of orange.
